Owned by Erica Wall, Gallery 6/67 started in Santa Ana, California in a 102 Sq. Ft. gallery. Although now in a larger space, the original Gallery 6/67 initiative remains in the Santa Ana Arts District. In 2017, 6/67 expanded to the East Coast with the establishment of the 36 Chase & Barns Residency in North Adams, Massachusetts. Through the Gallery & Residency, 6/67 is dedicated to supporting the exhibition, creation and documentation of work by historically underrepresented artists.
Before opening 6/67, Erica worked at both large and small museums, most notably the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, as Director of School and Community Programs, and The Crocker Museum in Sacramento as Director of Education. Prior to those leadership positions, she worked as an educator at The Getty Center in Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and was a Smithsonian Fellow.
Erica holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a master’s degree in Museum Education from California State University, Los Angeles.
